Organisational Consultancy
Joette began working in human services in 1990, and has accumulated considerable experience of organisational development within this field. Her experience is wide ranging, and includes:
- Initiating and supporting programmes of significant organisational change
- Business planning
- Motivating, developing and strengthening teams
- Needs assessment, evaluation and service development planning
- Policy and practice development
- Consultation with clients and other stakeholders
- Establishing effective partnership working
- Community development
Her experience, combined with her exceptional interpersonal skills, allows her to work successfully with a wide range of human service organisations. Whether working independently, or in partnership with key staff members, Joette offers effective support for developing organisations.

Joette worked with Edinburgh based organisation Bfriends for a five month period in 2004, through the transition from being an independent organisation to becoming part of Children 1st. This was a particularly difficult time for staff within Bfriends, which has gone on to be a well integrated and successful service within Children 1st.
